Calgary Sewing School,
and probably your class instructor.

I’m a proud Calgarian, a teacher, mom of a wonderful boy, and wife to my best friend Chris. We live in the vibrant community of Inglewood, where we play dinosaurs by the river and enjoy fantastic coffee.

I started Calgary Sewing School with a vision: to teach others to love sewing the way I do. Sewing is my happy place; my retreat from the world. It makes me feel powerful, creative, and connected to others through time and place.

Bring up sewing, and everyone has a story - of a machine gathering dust in a closet, of a beloved grandmother who made quilts, or of dreams of making clothes that
actually fit. What will your sewing story be?
I’m here to help you write it.


Calgary Sewing School offers an environment of
come-as-you-are authenticity, fun, radical body positivity,
and (of course) a whole lot of hands-on learning.
