Beginner Adult Workshop: Pajama Pants!
Age Group: 16 - 101
Let’s get started. Acquire general sewing skills that will transfer to any sewing project you choose to tackle in the future. Spend the day with excellent people, learning and connecting. Come with zero experience (or a desire to reinforce the basics) and leave with a pair of fabulous pajama pants which will be the envy of teddy bears everywhere.
Food & Beverage - Lunch and beverages are catered so that you can relax, enjoy, and focus on YOU. Feel free to bring small snacks for the in-between times if you like.
Supplies - Fabric, thread, zipper, interfacing:A shopping list for fabric and notions will be sent after registration so that you can come to class prepared with the right materials to do your best work in the colours/themes you love!
Tools - Pins, scissors, tape measures, irons, seam rippers, etc. will all be at the venue ready for you to use. No need to bring your own unless you want to.
Sewing Machines - If you have one, bring it! It's best to learn on the machine you'll continue to use. If you don't have one, simply indicate at checkout that you'll need to borrow a CSS machine (no extra charge).
Vibe: Your instructor is a skilled, experienced, warm and wacky lady who loves people and sewing. The teaching is intuitive and casual, and you will be amazed how much you can learn in a short time. The environment is fun and inclusive, with people of every kind being welcome.
Schedule: 9am - 3pm. Carve out a soul-filling day away from your regular life on a one-off basis. One and done… until you come back for another! Everyone works at their own pace, and this determines how many projects you make.
